Facebook SeenBlock for Chrome is a simple but powerful browser extension enabling users to block the "seen" feature on Facebook chat preventing their friends from knowing if they have read their message.

Also, SeenBlock enables users to block the "is typing.." feature so their friends can't see if they are typing a message to them.

SeenBlock gives the power to users to mark any message as "read" only when/if they want, allowing in this way their friends to know that they have seen their message.

Unlike other extensions, SeenBlock works for both "chat box" and "inbox" as well. You can access your messages from the inbox page or the chat box without letting your friends know that you have seen their message. The check - "mark as read" - button at the bottom right of the message area allows users to manually send the "seen" notification when they wish.

Moreover, SeenBlock works for both group and one-to-one chat conversations. Whether you are talking to a friend or a number of friends, you can let them know that you have seen their message only when/if you want.
